This beloved annual celebration is such a treat for children in foster care! It's a fun-filled day to help our kids in care build positive memories.
Additionally, this event is an opportunity to praise foster, relative, and kinship caregivers for the important work they do, and wrap them in community resources to support every aspect of raising children in foster care.

GIVE JOY Holiday Toy & Gift Card Drive
Program Overview & Impact
Clark County's GIVE JOY Holiday Toy and Gift Card Drive served just under 3,100 children in foster care this holiday season with the help of the GIVE JOY Community Committee and the Proud Partners of Clark County Foster Care. The community-driven initiative united 176 donors, sponsors and toy drive hosts, and 326 volunteers to ensure every child in the County's foster care system received gifts this holiday season.
“We are incredibly grateful to our community partners, donors, and volunteers who came together to make this year's GIVE JOY event a tremendous success,” said Jennifer Erbes, Family Services Manager for Clark County Family Services. “The generosity and compassion demonstrated by our community ensures that children in foster care know they are valued and loved during the holiday season. We encourage community members who were touched by this event to consider becoming foster parents. With only 384 licensed foster homes currently serving our community, we need additional families to provide safe, caring placements for children in crisis.”
Funding and donations for GIVE JOY are supported by Share in the JOY, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an officially recognized fiscal partner of Clark County Family Services foster care events.
