BACK-TO-SCHOOL GEAR GIVEAWAY
Volunteer for Back-to-School | Donate Today!
While most families are enjoying summer break, our community committee is planning our annual Back-to-School Gear Giveaway for children and teens in foster care.
We are thrilled to have support from Commissioner Jim Gibson and Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick as well as being welcomed back to the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Plaza! Kids will get new backpacks provided by Canyon Ridge Christian Church and Trilogy by Shea Homes. New this year: immunizations and sports physicals provided by FirstMed Health and Wellness. Our non-profit partner, Share in the Joy, is raising monetary donations to support the Back-to-School Gear Giveaway for Foster Care.
THANK YOU TO PROUD PARTNERS FOR A SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION CELEBRATION!
Thank you to our partners including Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Children's Advocacy Alliance Nevada, TTEC, Foster Change, NSHE Fostering Success Initiative, CASA Las Vegas, Raise the Future, Pacific Advisors, Las Vegas Raiders, Pinkbox Doughnuts, Little Party Girl, Inspired by Jocey, the Ninth Island Aunties, all of the amazing resource providers, and dedicated community volunteers for their support to make the Graduation Party and Future Success Fair a success! We honored 99 high school graduates in foster care through Clark County Family Services and high school graduates in StepUp, a social service program for youth who have transitioned out of foster care to live independently.
