Inmate Telephone
If you are using the Clark County Detention Center's Inmate Phone System, operated by ViaPath Technologies, here is a list of Questions and Answers that may help make your user experience easier.
Please note: On June 1st, Friends and family will no longer be able to deposit into Inmate’s Phone (PIN debit) Account.
Beginning June 1st, your friends & family will have these 3 options to select from when depositing funds:
1. Remind your friends and family, they will need to begin depositing funds into your Touchpay Commissary Account for telephone and tablet services by visiting www.touchpaydirect.com.
Friends & family can also deposit funds over the phone at 866-232-1899 and through the kiosks in the CCDC lobby. Alternatively, money orders are accepted through the mail.
2. NEW! My Messaging Account on GettingOut.com.
Money placed here pays for services that are linked to their Specific Account(s) like Their Phone Number, or Their Email. This provides them with services that include Sending Messages, Photos, and E-Cards.
PLEASE NOTE: Effective June 1 st, 2026: They will need to use the “AdvancePay Account” option mentioned below to pay for their Video Visits.
3. AdvancePay on GettingOut.com.
Money placed here also pays for services that are linked to Their Specific Account(s) like Their Phone Number, or Their Email. However, this also provides them with services that include making Phone Calls and Video Visits.
For Advance Pay (Prepaid) Accounts Only:
Once an inmate is released from the Clark County Detention Center, family or friends that funded an Advance Pay account can request a refund of any unused balance.
Family and Friends may request a refund of unused funds by following these steps:
- Contact ViaPath Customer Service at 877-650-4249 to request the refund.
- ViaPath can issue a refund to the original card provided when funds were placed on the account, OR ViaPath can mail a check with the balance.

Inmates are not permitted to receive phone calls. If an inmate needs to be contacted in the event of an emergency, please contact The Clark County Detention Center: (702) 671-3900.
The Clark County Detention Center is equipped with TTY machines to accommodate hearing impairment.
Telephone interpretation service is available to assist non-English speakers.
